Let me help inspire your next event.

Even though there is great fun to be experienced, there comes a point where you have to get down to business. You can have both in one place at the Isle of Capri Casino® Hotel Boonville.

You’ll find 12,000 square feet of meeting space appropriate for just about any function or event. Our event space begins with our 8,000 square foot Flamingo Bay Ballroom, highlighted by a large stage that can accommodate a variety of entertainment. Don't require that much space? The ballroom can be divided into the Macaw and Toucan rooms, each providing almost 4,000 square feet of space. A 1,400 square foot pre-function area adjoins the ballroom and is perfect for cocktail receptions and small private gatherings. Take a look at our room layout chart for more details.

The spacious Event Center features over 2,600 square feet of meeting and banquet space, easily divided into two smaller sections. An additional 1,350 square foot pre-function space, overlooking the exciting casino floor, is available adjoining this event center.

Our staff is ready to assist you in planning your next meeting or function. For banquets, wedding receptions, private parties, business meetings, tour & travel group functions or a holiday bash, we'll help you take care of everything – right down to the last minor detail.

TIPS FOR PLANNING AN EVENT

Please consider the following tips & ideas to help plan a successful event at Isle of Capri Casino Hotel Boonville.

  • Number of Guests
  • Budget
  • Theme & Room Layout
  • Plan a Site Visit
  • Agenda

Number of Guests:

Be aware of the amount of guest you are expecting. Making sure the space accommodates everyone comfortably is a key factor when planning a successful event.

Budget:

If you are working within a budget, keep us in the loop. We can help choose cost effective solutions to help stay within a dollar amount, so please let us know what that dollar amount is.

Theme & Room Layout:

Have an idea of how you would like the room ambiance and layout to look. Speak with your sales coordinator about room layout, specialty linens, centerpieces, and room decor to help incorporate your desired theme throughout the event.

Plan a Site Visit

Schedule a time to come see the space, get a tour, and meet the coordinators that are assisting you. This will insure the right questions are being asked.

Agenda:

Determining timelines and details will help keep your event on schedule and organized. An itinerary will help keep all the moving parts on the same page.

Prepare for the following event questions:

  • Date of Event
  • Type of Event
  • Event Start and End Time
  • otal Number of People
  • Room Layout Preference
  • Events Name
  • Point of Contact information – (Name, Address, Phone number)
  • Are you considering Catering and/or Bar services?
  • Equipment needed: i.e. podium, microphone, audio visual, chairs, tables
  • Are you considering involving any third-party services? i.e. DJ, Specialty Linens, AV company
  • Do you need a block of rooms for your guests?
  • Payment information

Additional ideas for your event:

Stay organized and plan ahead

  • Plan details as soon as possible! Consider contacting our sales coordinator 3 to 6 months in advanced. You will want to reserve your room, communicate details, and consider your guest count before publishing any advertisements or announcements for your potential event.

Look over and read through Event Agreement

  • Ask questions if you are unsure of items in the contract. This will insure nothing will be denied on event day, and both parties fully understand one another. Always ask before making assumptions.

Stay on top of guest count

  • When preparing to invite your guests, understand the maximum capacity to prevent any roadblocks. Consider all elements (i.e. buffet, stage, display tables) you are adding to the room, because this will effect how many guests the room can accommodate.

Consider a theme

  • Research current event trends and ideas. A theme is a great way to engage your guests and make your event appealing. Take a look at our Pinterest page for ideas!
