Easter Traditions at a Buffet
As with every major American holiday, Easter comes with its share of dining traditions. Our favorite thing about the Easter season is that it gives us a chance to get closer to our local friends and family aka our farmers! Take a peek at the many ways you will see the season bloom here at the Isle of Capri®.
A-Bow K's floral arrangements expertly selected and designed for your viewing pleasure will brighten things up. When you get a chance, drop by A-Bow K to send your loved ones a floral arrangement made with love right here in Boonville, Missouri.
If you have a love for sweet, buttery jams, your dining experience at the Farmer's Pick Buffet® on Easter will be extra special with Berry Nutty Farm's selection of apple butter and jams, which are all made without any high fructose corn syrup or preservatives, the way the family has done for generations. Be sure to keep a lookout for the best apple butter you've ever tasted at a buffet table near you.
You'll also have the pleasure of enjoying the freshest milk and dairy products from Central Dairy's milk farm, which has been operating since 1933. Central Dairy's farm is also a milk purveyor for the famous Jefferson City ice cream counter. It distributes over 790 dairy products. All the egg products found at the buffet are from locally raised chickens at Stanton Brothers Farm in Centralia, Missouri, to give you the best and freshest dining experience possible.
Burger's Smokehouse has been curing ham since 1952 and producing over 750,000 meat products including ham, bacon, sausage and others each year. Enjoy delicious cured bacon that is made with tradition and history from Burger's Smokehouse at the buffet. More ham selections are available from Patchwork Family Farms, which come directly from local Missouri farm families. Patchwork Family Farms is dedicated not only to the best-quality ham, but also to sustainability with its environmentally friendly farming techniques, which will let you enjoy your meal with peace of mind.
Barbecue rubs, sauces and marinades will grace the buffet table coming from the Spicewine Ironworks and Millies BBQ Sauce. These award-winning flavors come from Columbia, Missouri.
For sustainable eating, the buffet will also include beef dishes from Missouri Legacy Beef featuring our inhouse smoked Beef Strip loin. The beef comes from grass-fed cows on a free-range farm to ensure the healthiest meat offered on the buffet menu.
